WHO WE ARE
WHO WE ARE
Future Tides started as a small group of friends jamming in a dive shop and has grown into a staple of the Big Island music scene. They released the album "Before it's Gone" in July of 2018, and another "Believe the People" in April of 2021. Funk, rock and reggae inspires much of their sound and they thrive on mixing free flow music with rock solid rhythms. Future Tides blends together original songs, obscure covers and hana-hou style jams to showcase a style and energy that make their live shows an experience you don't want to miss. Live from Big Island, Hawaii at your favorite venue or at your next party...

BAND MEMBERS
BAND MEMBERS

Ian Roussopoulos, Bass/Vocals
After cutting his teeth touring with bands out of California, this Santa Cruz born bassist came to Hawaii to take a quick break from his life and studies. Over a decade later he still thinks that he needs a little more time. Through funk and reggae, he frequently pushes the normally modest bass into the limelight and couples it with soulful, fervent vocals.

Jenny Brown, Trombone
Classically trained and constantly in high demand, Jenny Brown keeps the joint classy. Escaping the weather of Seattle, Washington in search of sunshine and island vibes, she became an essential part of the Future Tides sound. Playing all over the island and beyond in various musical groups, Jenny brings the sass and brass with her polished and funky horn licks.

William Burdette, Guitar/Vocals

Will hails from Oregon and enjoys shredding the guitar while impersonating Indiana Jones. He brings influences of the indy music scene from the Pacific Northwest adding those elements to the band's sound. Count on smooth vocals and wailing guitar when he hits the stage.

Tommy "Two-Tone" Garibaldi, Guitar/Vocals

Tommy came to Hawaii from the thriving metropolitan area known as Ohio. He is often seen with a grin wider than his head, absolutely annihilating a blues rock solo. He shreds his heart out at every given opportunity (and they're given often). Tommy is always keeping the stoke high and the good vibes coming.

David Marchand, Drummer
David “The Machine” Marchand hails from France and grew up listening to classic rock, reggae and blues. After stints in London and LA he moved to the Big Island in pursuit of a life aquatic. Despite having the hair of an angel, this drummer always keeps the beats grounded and lays down the foundations to build the groove on.
Robot
Having travelled to the present day from the not too distant future, Robot is drawn by the space time anomaly known as Future Tides. Upon investigation he...index=0;indexvp*polygon ........error......rebooting
